It's safe to drive almost any time. Later in the evenings the traffic slows down quite a bit.

You should contact the hotel regarding the operating hours of their restaurant.

I do not believe Hotel Staubbach has a restaurant. They serve a good continental breakfast in a nice sunny breakfast room but no other meals. There are several restaurants within a block of the Staubbach. I would think they will still be serving at 21:00. Driving from Interlaken in the evening should be very comfortable and safe.

The Hotel Staubbach has a dining room for breakfast only. Tea, coffee, and water are available in the lounge all day.

The staff leaves at 10:30pm and the front door is locked. Guests are given a key to the front door along with their room key, and are advised to take the keys with them if they plan to be out late in the evening.
