juneau or anchorage

If you were only going to go to one of the two, which would it be? Juneau or Anchorage? Also planning to go to Denali for 3 nights or 4 and Homer for 3 nights.

If you are already planning on going to Denali and Homer, then the most obvious choice would be to fly into Anchorage.......you cannot drive to Juneau from Anchorage as there are no roads into Juneau......check out a map, do a little more research, determine what you would like to see and do on your trip.......then post back with more questions as your plans progress.......

What mombear says is right. She is in Haines and a ferry ride from Juneau. We drove from Haines to Homer about two years ago and it was about 900 miles and through Canada. Subtract 225 miles and that is how far it is to Anchorage.
