Best place to buy fur.

We are struggling to find a shop that just sells animal furs for a throw over a couch or a rug.. we thought they would be everywhere up here! we are heading to Talkeetna is there any worth checking out there?? otherwise we are heading back to Anchorage in a few days. We've seen a few in tourist shops but I think they are a bit over priced? any suggestions would be welcomed.

David Green Furriers in Alaska is family owned/run and has been in business for years.......furs are pricey, even if they are not made into jackets or hats..........

We saw two really nice wolf skins at a garage sale last year and they were $250 and $300 each.........don't know what you consider "a bit overpriced" but most things the will sell for what the traffic will bear.........

Alaska Fur Exchange is an awesome store. Lots of different kinds of hides and unique handmade items with the crafter's name and village they are from.
