Itinerary help for Alaska 7 days trip

Hi,

I needed help in deciding 7 days itinerary for Alaska. We are a couple traveling with our 2.5 yrs old son. This is the first draft of the places we are planning to go:

Travel dates: 24th Aug to 1st Sep

Reaching Anchorage --> 24th Aug 12 PM

24th Aug (Anchorage)

--> Anchorage (should we skip Anchorage and drive to Denali the same day??)

25th, 26th (Denali)

--> drive to Denali

--> please suggest things to see/ things to do enroute as well as in Denali

--> 26th booked 6:45 AM wonder lake shuttle bus

--> 26th evening drive to Talkeetna

27th (Talkeetna)

--> interested in doing Talkeetna air taxi but not sure which one is allowed with a toddler and also whether we can skip this and do something else

--> need suggestions on places to see in/near Talkeetna

28th, 29th (Seward)

--> Drive to Seward

--> 29th Aug Kenai Fjords Cruise

--> need suggestions on places to see/things to do enroute and in/near Seward

30th Aug Homer

--> Drive to Homer

--> need suggestions on places to see/things to do enroute and in/near Homer

1st Sep Back to Anchorage

--> drive back to Anchorage

--> possibly stop at Whittier to explore

--> need suggestions on places to see/things to do enroute

Depart Anchorage by 2AM flight on 2nd Sep

I would really appreciate your help in helping with the itinerary

I'm only going to spot comment as don't travel with toodlers anymore and haven't probably 40 years back when those special car seats were not available. I think you will find it a strain to drive to Denali the afternoon (you arrive ANC at noon). The distance is around 225 miles and mostly two lane driving.

Why do you want to go to Whittier to explore? You have to drive through a one way lane controlled tunnel ($12). Unless, you have a cruise there, no point on going.

Lots of things to do in Homer. Go to www.homeralaska.org to see
