Condo rental near Phoenix

We're looking to rent a two bedroom condo in March outside of Phoenix, hoping there are smaller communities that are still accessible to the city but would also offer a pool, shopping and restaurants.

Would welcome suggestions as I'm not that familiar with the area.

Thanks in advance!

Look in downtown Scottsdale area, they offer much within walking distance or you can use the trolley. Also any of the "ranch" communities, McCormick Ranch, Scottsdale Ranch, Gainey Ranch, McDowell Mtn Ranch area all lovely, newer "neighborhoods" that offer more of the same.

"Phoenix" is a megalopolis about 60 miles east to west and 30 miles north to south. The smaller communities are either part of it, or they are not near it.

Try vrbo.com. Central and North Scottsdale are likely the best areas. AZFan's advice is right on.

Thanks so much for the tips.

Have found a couple on vrbo that are candidates!
