Hotel Rooms

We will be traveling with our two boys, ages 20 and 17 next year. They are too big to share a queen bed, let alone a double. As I'm planning out our 10 day PCH vacation, we will be staying at approximately 4 different hotels. Some of them I don't mind getting two rooms, but where we will only be staying a one night/two nights, it would be nice to share a room. Do you find that the hotels will bring a spare bed? We don't have to do this, but it would be nice to cut costs a few nights. If not, I had even though of buying a blow up mattress and each boy can take a turn those nights we decide to share a room.

1. Re: Hotel Rooms

Some hotels have a roll away bed for an additional cost. Contact each hotel to ask.

Sometimes the room is small or the fire code doesn't allow an additional bed.

I find it best to try to find hotels that can fit 5 people in a room. Then I know that I'll be getting 3 beds. ( Yes, I have only 4 in my group like you have 4 in your group, but by seeking a hotel for 5 you can find more beds.)
