My partner and i are currently planning our first major overseas trip which will be to LA, San Diego, Anaheim and Las Vegas! We are planning for around late February, early March 2014. We are a young couple and currently reside in Australia. We know the major things we want to do and where we want to go but are unsure of which way to go about things. Here's a little run down:
San Diego - Approx 3 days
-Legoland- (I know this is not that close to San Diego)
Las Vegas- Approx 3-4 days
-See a few shows
We currently do not have the Gran Canyon in our plans as we are not really sight seers at the moment.
Anaheim - Approx 5 days
-3 days Disney
-Knotts Berry Farm
LA- Approx 6 days
-Warner Bros Studios
-Six Flags Magic Mountain
-Other Touristy things
-We are hoping to see a live taping of a tv show (We've been looking already as we know it can be hard to get tickets)
Of course i haven't listed everything we would like to see/do but those are the major things. We love our theme parks and as we only have 2 in Australia we are really keen to try out every one we can! Can you recommend any other places we may enjoy?
Our major concern is which order to visit the places. We will be arriving in LA but aren't sure if we should then fly to Las Vegas then back to LA, San Diego, Anaheim etc. Also as we are only 21 renting a car can be a nightmare with extra charges so we will be relying on shuttles and public transport. Do you have any ides on the best route?
We are trying to budget a reasonably priced holiday and we think with the places we want to visit the Go LA card will be really good for us. Our hotels won't be fancy as we'll hardly be spending any time there.
This is my first time posting so i hope i did okay. We really just want to get everything sorted so we can get everything booked :) Any extra tips or if you can direct me to places that would be wonderful! I've been reading some of the forums and have already learned so much!
