I'm looking for a gondola ride anywhere in CO the last weekend in October 10/27-28. I'm finding most have closed down by that date, if not already.
I honestly can't think of any at ski resorts that are open. Telluride was my only thought because it serves as transportation, but they are closed too. Glenwood Springs has an Adventure Park and Caverns that you take a gondola to, it's open all year.
Does it have to be a gondola? You might see if A-Basin has lift service for foot traffic up to Black Mountain Lodge? Other than that I can't think of any.
How about the gondola at the top of Monarch Pass?
Of course, when the OP says "anywhere in Colorado" I'm not sure they actually understand how big the state actually is and the distances they might have to travel for a 7 minute ride. Hopefully this first time poster with a new account will return to let us know where they are arriving in Colorado and how far they are willing to travel for this experience.
Monarch Tram is a great idea but they stopped running for the season.
Hi Kristy, I mentioned A-Basin before, they do not have a gondola but the lifts are running. Just up the road from Keystone. If you are driving yourselves to Keystone from the Denver area take Loveland Pass over. You will pass A-Basin on the way to Keystone. Great drive and a bit faster than going through the tunnel.
