In/Around Colorado with 2 teens

Hi!

I'm a single mom of 2 teens and a baby and am looking for an adventure to surprise the teenagers with for Christmas. I have a budget of about $600 total, so I am looking for something in/around Colorado to save money on car rentals and such. This would be a late December/early January trip.

Hi Jessica, you have two very similar posts. To avoid confusion I would delete one of them.

To do that just click on Report inappropriate content and then "remove my post".

600.00 Total for lodging and activities? For how many days? Here are some suggestion for my go to cheap getaway.

Salida; Cheap Lodging in a good location https://www.vrbo.com/206453

Simple Lodge Family Room - $84 https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g33…

Great snowshoeing, you can bike and hike pretty much year round. Hot springs combined with a visit to Great Sand Dunes http://www.sanddunespool.com/ If you do not own snowshoes surely someone you know has then hanging in the garage.

If they already know how to ski / board you might research lift tickets at Monarch , if they do not lessons will eat up most of the budget https:/…

Cheap eats at Moonlight Pizza.

I'd also take a look at Glenwood Springs Hopefully others will have some detailed suggestions for that area. .
