summit county dog sledding

Has anyone used one of the dog sledding companies? I wouldn't want to do this if there are problems with these adventure companies' packs....is one better than another? we are taking a midweek break from skiing (Keystone and Breck) and could drive to aspen for the day or do somethiing like this....

Don't go to Aspen! Krabloonik in Aspen has a long time reputation of abusing their animals.

Try Good Times in Breck www.snowmobilecolorado.com/dogsledding.html they have a good reputation

We did good times and they were good, ha. Dogs were fired up to pull the sleds and started howling like crazy and jumping out of their coats when they were being harnessed, you get to drive the sled if you want. No sign of any abuse or harsh treatment, dogs were energetic, ready to pull and friendly. Its not difficult to tell when sled dogs aren't handled correctly. If you go to a place where the sled dogs are laying around, fight it when time to pull and look thin then there is a problem.
