Fireworks on federal lands/where to see fireworks

Here is a reminder that it is illegal to possess or use fireworks of any kind on federal lands. That includes National Parks, National Monuments, National Forests, and land managed by the BLM, Bureau of Reclamation, etc. Cities and counties in the state have their own rules and regulations. It only takes a spark to start something that can't be easily doused - such as a child dropping a hot sparkler into dry grass. So be prepared, have a bucket of water handy and try to use fireworks in a cleared area and in one that allows their use. Better yet, support the many communities that do them in a big way and have a great, safe 4th. Here's a link to where there are firework shows in CO. thedenverchannel.com/news/…

Happy July 4th to all!
