travel from Cumberland MD to Cape Cod

Hello Fellow travelers:

We are looking for a place hotel/motel/B&B somewhere between Cumberland MD and Cape Cod to rent for a few days at the end of July, beginning of Aug. 125 -300 range daily. would like beachfront or close to beach. would like to drive 6-8 hrs. from Cumberland , then stay somewhere.

Like good seafood, music, small towns and friendlies. both appx 60 but somewhat active. Any suggestions.

thanks in advance.

Newport, RI is just a little over 8 hours. It may be the perfect choice for you.

You may also want to research the CT coast....towns such as Mystic, Stonington, Clinton, Guilford. I'm sure there are plenty of lovely places w/water views there!
