From Wilmington? Ask on the Wilmington forum.

If you are trying to avoid heavy traffic in Orlando then try to avoid the morning and evening workday rush. In Orlando that would be 6AM to ( Am and 4PM to & PM. Avoid I-4 especially during those times. Otherwise it will be the normal heavy traffic. Same with Jacksonville. There is a bypass around Jax but I don't always use it. Nowadays it seems to have as much traffic as just going straight thru.

It looks like it will be about a 9 hour drive depending on how many stops you make, how long you stop for and how fast you drive. So time it to get to Orlando after the afternoon rush hour.

As mentioned, try to stay away from normal rush hour times in Jacksonville and Orlando. If you can't avoid those times in Orlando, you can use the 417 toll road assuming you are going to the tourist areas.
