Miami, large city, great beaches, lots of shopping, dinning and nite life. Keys, beautiful carribean water, best place for snorkeling, diving, fishing. More laid back, less nite life except Key West. Shopping mostly tourist. Beaches are small, not miles of soft sand beaches. You could possibly do 2 nights middle keys such as Islamorada and last night in Miami.

It really does depend on what you like to see and do on holiday as to where I would recommend. We love the Keys (not that keen on Miami) but three days is not really long enough IMHO to do them justice.
