Georgia coast

I'm driving to FL next month to see my sister and plan to stop in Charleston on the way down and Savannah on the way back. What else do you suggest along the coast? I know there's a plantation and beaches, of course; anything I should not miss? I'd appreciate food recs as well...thanks!

Cumberland Island National Seashore is really nice if you have a full day. Check out on internet.

Jekyll Island and St Simons are near Brunswick and can both be done in a day if in a hurry. Both are nice.
