Which island for a week-long time share?

We are planning a family trip to Hawaii for about 2 weeks (2 adults and a 6 year old.) Having never been, we would like to see the Big Island, Maui and Kauai. We have access to a time share for one week. Which island should we plan to stay on for a full week? Thanks!

The Big Island since it is bigger than all the other islands put together and takes longer to see.

Of course it really depends on what you plan on doing. If it is just veg on the beach all day it really doesn't matter, any island will do.

I agree with Bill - The Big Island is great! However, so are Maui and Kauai. I think because you have a 6yr old, he/she might really enjoy the Big Island. There is so much to do - Volcano, Place of Refuge, easy hikes to waterfalls. We have been there 4 times with our son (going to be 16yrs) and he loves the Big Island.

Maui has some great activities for kids. The Maui Ocean Center to name one. Great family beaches as well.

Kauai is beautiful, but a little remote. The Kilauea Lighthouse with Wildlife refuge is a must.

Any place you pick will be paradise! Aloha!
