Plus they fly to Hawaii....
I watched this on the news last night. Absolutely love. Especially the expressions on some of the kids' faces. The guy who asked for socks and underwear....oops!!
I'm assuming this was for real...very nice, but I too wonder why Santa is wearing blue (all the Santa caps are blue too).
The Blue represents the WestJet colors.
Thanks, makes sense, it's a nice shade of blue.
Actually made me cry.Edited: 12 December 2013, 01:50
I can't watch this without crying.
It is so freakin' adorable.
Love this video! Westjet also pledged to donate free tickets through Ronald McDonald House (for sick children and their families) charity. We hear a lot about airlines cutting back customer service to save money, it's so nice to see how a generous customer service (and a clever marketing plan!) can be good business, too! They won me over a few years ago by being very helpful in a particular situation, doing more for us than they needed to - AND they fly to Hawaii! What more could you want? :-)
They also have a good sense of humour (from April Fool's Day):
That sense of humour is always present on their flights as well. I can remember an announcement upon arriving back in Vancouver, reminding us all to check for our personal belongings. Of course, if you forgot something, don't worry, because you could get it back tomorrow.... on e-bay!
