Road Construction Alert - Rte 1 Wells

Rte 1 between the intersection of Rte 9 (the road to Kennebunkport) and nearly to the intersection of Rte 109 (the road to the Maine Turnpike) is completely torn up and is in very bad shape. The rain over the weekend is making it even worse. Businesses are open.

If you are headed to Kennebunkport, take exit 25 from the Maine Pike and follow Rte 35 south.

'Very bad shape" is an understatement. Proceed verrrry slowly and with the rain all of your friends will be impressed because your car will look as if you have been off-roading.
