Inland route from Camden to Boston??

Can anyone suggest an interesting trip from Camden to Boston taking two days. I'll be visiting Maine in July and intend to drive up the coast, but wanted to take a different route back to Boston.

The alternatives to the coastal route are certainly not as scenic. If you are *just* looking for a quicker way back south...take Rte 17 West from Rockland to Augusta and I-95.

There are a few less traveled, (slow, curvey) roads (e.g. Rte105)from the coast inland where you can travel past scenic landscapes, working farms, etc. Ultimately you will hit Rte 17 or Rt3 to head back to Augusta.

If you have two days to do an inland route from Camden to Boston, you could easily take yourself to New Hampshire and spend the night there. I'd suggest the Jackson/North Conway area. The Kancamagus Highway, across the White Mountains, is especially pretty.

Once in New Hampshire, a nice way back to Boston is I-93 to Manchester, 101 to I-95, and I-95 into the city
