Looking to take the kids crabbing for a day somewhere on the cheaspeake , where is a good place ? a public access pier or places to rent boats for crabbing and fishing

Sandy Point State Park has piers from which you can crab, and also rents boats. We often also see people fishing from the jetty.

Jonas Green Park is a more compact less congested place than Sandy Point and there is no admission fee. It is on the Severn River across from the Annapolis Naval Academy and has a large pier for fishing/crabbing, public restrooms, picnic tables etc..
