Four days isn't much time. Are you planning to see Boston? What is your criteria for what you want to see? You planning on spending the whole time just driving around? "Must Sees" are up to you. Check the "Things to Do" button for ideas.
Yes we have a couple of additional days set aside to enjoy Boston.
In mid November, Cape Cod will be quiet. Many restaurants and motels/hotels that are seasonal close for the winter so keep this in mind. Cape Cod I associate with spring to early fall activities -- may be this is me but I think there won't be as much to do that time of year. Others may have different opinions.

Assuming you've "done" Boston, you could use your remaining four days like this:
a) Day One
Depart Boston; drive South and spend the day in Plymouth - include the Mayflower II & Plimoth Plantation.
Check in to hotel in the evening, Falmouth, MA area (recommend Shoreway Acres for a good, clean mid-range property)
b) Day Two
Explore Cape Cod! Bike trails, walk the beaches, shopping, museums, history, etc. -- we live here and we're spending a lifetime exploring the Cape
c) Now: here comes the hard part. You could spend two more days on the Cape, or drive down to
Newport, RI for a spectacular two days in this Golden Age city. (Check out the Newport CVBs website.)
Four days is NOT enough!!
Best of luck,
S. G. Mann
