If you enjoy literature and local history, the Newburyport Literary Festival, being held this Friday and Saturday ( April 29-30) may provide a great time. Many local authors including Brunonia Barry, Andre Dubus III and Aine Greaney are scheduled to read and answer questions. Also, journalist Dyke Hendrickson will be doing a presentation about Migration and Mill Cities in the late 19th and 20th century New England. Anyone interested in local history is sure to enjoy this presentation.
