We will have one day in Stockbridge. Other than the Norman Rockwell museum what would you suggest we see?

You can also go over to Lenox and visit The Mount, the home of author Edith Wharton - the estate & gardens are wonderful:

There is also the Museum of the Gilded Age:

You could check out Tanglewood on the Lenox, Stockbridge town line to see if they have a concert or rehearsal you could attend. www.bso.org

I like the other 2 suggestions made also!

Was just recently there. For our one day we spent about 2 1/2 hours at the Norman Rockwell Museum, headed into Stockbridge and walked around. Fun to see the actual inspiration for Rockwell's famous painting. Would love to be there at Christmas when they reinact the scene complete with antique cars, etc.

Went into the Red Lion and touched the table that Lincoln sat at! Got a bite to eat across the street followed by an ice cream at Soco. Since it was preseason many stores not open, so then drove over to Lenox (maybe 15 minute drive or so) for some more walking/shopping around.
