Battle Creek and Kalamazoo

What are the must see spots in Battle Creek? Any tours, museums, etc. Our group will consist of two parents and three young adults. What is the distance between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek? Also, between Battle Creek and the falls? It seem that Map Quest sometimes takes you the long route even when they say it is the shortest or fastest.

20 minutes from K-zoo to Battlecreek depending on traffic. There is Kelloggs there, they have tours. There is the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo. Kalamazoo has many more activities to do than Battle Creek does.

Battle Creek and Kalamazoo are about 30 miles apart; I-94 connects the two.

Kalamazoo has the Air Zoo Aviation Museum of Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Nature Center, Kalamazoo Valley Museum, and Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.

Kellogg ended the tours of the cereal factory back in 1986. Battle Creek does have Binder Park Zoo and Kellogg's Cereal City. I am afraid that Kellogg ended the tours of their cereal factory back in 1986. Cereal City is something like a Disney Store that also has some video theaters and snack bars inside it, and that charges admission.

The Gilmore Classic Car Museum in Hickory Corners is not too far from Kalamazoo, less than 20 miles northeast. It is also less than 20 miles northwest of Battle Creek. It's open daily May thru October.

Another option is to go 25 miles west of Kalamazoo to Paw Paw and tour one of the wineries there.

Your question about the distance to the falls is not clear, but if you are asking about the distance between Battle Creek and Tahquamenon Falls, it is about 400 miles. There are also the towns of Boyne Falls and Crystal Falls in Michigan; Boyne Falls is about 250 miles and Crystal Falls is about 500 miles.

Thank you Rod for the information. I was talking about Niagara Falls, but maybe we will also check out some of the other falls. Also, we will tour some of your suggestions.
