Looking for North Shore cabin

We've been to the North Shore several times and stayed at Castle Haven Cabins in Two Harbors and really liked it. They are booked for the week we want next year and I'm trying to find something similar. A cabin with 2 bedrooms (2 adults/2 kids), on Lake Superior where the kids can play on the rocks and dip their toes in the lake, kitchen, not farther north than about Lutsen. Any ideas? Thanks!

Here's a link that might help:

It's a shame you're not interested in north of Lutsen, some of the prettiest area with the most character in my opinion.

Cabins on the water are not as plentiful. You may want to look at Superior Lakeside Cabins. They have a couple of options both lakeside and more on the hill.

If you are open to something besides a cabin, Both Superior Shores and Grand Superior Lodge have very nice accommodations right on the lake. Grand Superior does have cabins but it is more of a resort feel than the more rustic Castle Haven Cabins

One place I have been tempted to look at but have not stayed at yet is the J. Greger Inn. http://jgregersinn.com/

All of the above are close in location to Castle Haven.

Lamb's Resort has cabins in Schroeder just south of Lutsen. Stayed there many years ago in a rustic cabin that was fine. Need to check the more current reviews. It was a beautiful setting, not sure if you're looking for more luxury or not, it might work for you. www.lambsresort.com

Bob's Cabins, Split Rock Cabins and Dodges Log Lodges are all right on the Lake with different cabin layouts. I know Bob's has steps down to the beach right outside your cabin and there is a place for a bonfire right on the beach.

You want cobblestone cabins, definitely. Private beach, sauna right on the lake, free use of canoes and kayaks, grills and firepits, a rocky point to fish off of, and two very quirky folks with fantastic accents. Book now.
