Romantic Weekend for 10th Wedding Anniversary in December

Hi,

My husband and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary on December 28th. While I wish we had the budget to go someplace warm and fabulous for a week... we don't. I'd like to find some place very special and romantic for a beautiful, special overnight or week-end getaway. When we go away, we usually head someplace warm so I am not familiar with many NH/ME romantic/luxury hotels.

Ideally, I'd like a place with an on-site spa for a couples massage but mostly, I just want something memorable and romantic with a nice restaurant. We live in Concord, NH and I would like to keep the drive to about 2 hours maximum.

Thanks,

Chrystine

You might look at the Mt. Washington Hotel, about 2 hours from COncord. Or, Wentworth By The Sea in Portsmouth. Both are beautiful, luxury hotels witht he offerings you seek.

I am sure there are others that folks can recommend.

I would vote for the Snowflake Inn and Spa in Jackson NH With dinner at the Wentworth Inn.
