Vegetarian friendly restaurants in Santa Fe or Taos area?

I'd love recommendations for vegetarian-friendly restaurants in Santa Fe or Taos area - we are traveling with young children (6 &9) so a children's menu would be a plus but not essential. Many thanks!

Taos' top vegetarian destination is current El Gamal, on La Dona Luz immediately west of the Plaza. Wonderful food prepared with the vegan/vegetarian in mind. Cash only!

Raw food, thus primarily vegan, can be found immediately east of the Plaza in the little shopping center at Quesnel and Paseo del Pueblo Sur.

Taos not only isn't on a grid, things can be hidden in plain sight, so we always recommend that our guests print a Google Map or stop at the Visitor's Center on the way into town and get a good map.

Bumble Bee Baja Grill http://www.bumblebeesbajagrill.com/ has veggie and vegan options and is quick and easy. Real Food Nation is also a great place with kids since there is a playground at the outdoor patio http://realfoodnation.biz/

There are vegetarian options at most restaurants in Santa Fe. If you eat cheese, then most local NM restaurants have bean burritos (ask if the refried beans have lard, or order black beans), chile rellanos (again ask for vegetarian chile on the top as some use meat based broths) quesadillas (tortillas n cheese) always a hit with kids.

Blue Corn Cafe, The Shed, Tomasitas, La Plazuela, Del Charro (families sit on the covered patio), Cafe Pasquals (very lively)
