Looking for a place with great views for 2-3 weeks in July

My wife and I are looking for a place to spend 2-3 weeks in the mountains in New Mexico or Colorado in July. We have a one year old, so something extremely remote isn't ideal, but we do want something out of town with great views (emphasis on great views!). We're looking for something with 3-4 bedrooms. Our only other requirements are a (reasonably) fast internet connection, and not too far from Denver or Albuquerque (we plan to have some family join us for part of the time and will be picking them up). We don't have a budget set yet, because we're still trying to get a feel for what's reasonable for a property that meets our criteria.

Any suggestions on areas we should consider (or even specific properties, if you know of a great one)?

This one is technically "in town"....but the Albuqerque foothills are beautiful.

This one is on the otherside of the mountain from Albuquerque.

This one is in the town of Bernalillo, just south of Albuquerque

This one looks nice, but all booked up

Check out VRBO for rentals in Sandia Heights. It's part of Albuquerque but in the foothills. We've stayed at Casa Cristalera in that area and loved it.
