Romantic winery in upstate NY?

Can anyone recommend a pretty winery in upstate NY for a day trip? I wouldn't mind driving about 2 hours from the Rockland County border.

Just looking to pack a lunch and enjoy the scenery one afternoon in October.

Thanks!

Too far for the Finger Lakes.

Did you check out this site?

Thanks very much. I have actually visited that site, but there are so many vineyards to choose from. I was looking to see if someone could recommend one to me.

Wish I could. I never even knew that the Hudson Valley had so many.

I thought the oldest one (can't recall the name) looked interesting.

Good luck with it!!!
