Hi guys

I'm planning a 3 weeks trip to the USA next year end Sep.

Its our first trip to the states together with my hubby and 3 yrs old son.

I hv totally no idea which part of the states I shld go as its too big for me to decide.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would go to NYC. It's more expensive in NYC in September...but it's a great time to be here.

Since you are posting in the New York state forum, I assume that you have an interest in visiting this area. I also assume that you really mean to visit New York City specifically. Since you are traveling with a young child, I would not suggest a great tour of the US. Instead, I suggest just visiting the states around New York or places along the east coast. I, personally, like to get out of the cities a bit when traveling with children and spending some time enjoying nature. Here's one idea: spend a couple of weeks touring New York City, Boston and Washington, DC and plan a relaxing week on the beach in Maine or the Outer Banks of North Carolina or maybe a week enjoying nature in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
