If you can stand another hiking question

3 women Going to be staying in the weaverville area in a few weeks for a hiking weekend. We are looking for a good hike between 4-8miles, moderate. I hiked Charlie's bunion last year so you know the level we're looking for. Would love to see waterfalls. I know there are a ton out there, but searching the web is getting very confusing.

I don't want to drive too far from our hotel.

Oh, and a loop trail would be a plus

Any suggestions?

Maybe these links will help you. I am not familiar with Weaverville, except for the WellBread Bakery.

Here's another helpful link

We loved the hike near the BRP along to Art Loeb trail to Tennent Mountain - can also be extended to Ivestor Gap or Shining Rock Gap. The blueberries should be ready to pick there any time now.

BTW, the Parkway is still closed between MP 355 - 376 (north of Asheville heading toward Mt Mitchell).
