Renting bike in Seattle any tips on what to see or do
Have you checked the "Things to Do" and "Travel Guide" links on the left?
Have you checked any of the bike websites via Google?
Have you looked at any travel guides for Washington and Oregon?
After you've done some of that and have a few things that perked your interest, get back to us and you'll get lots of helpful tips. Until then, the options are infinite.
Also, tell us WHEN you'll be coming (weather can make a real difference, especially on a cycle). And how much time you have for your trip and whether it will be one-way or roundtrip back to Seattle.
Do what oregonpoppa said.
When the weather is nice the Oregon coast is motorcycle heaven.
If you have enough time you can start in Astoria and ride down to Gold Beach where you can take a jet boat ride up the Rogue River.
There are so many things to see it's hard to list them all. A lot of them you will find on your own.
Thanks We will be leaving Seattle July 12 we will have bike for 9 days. Plan on riding down coast to Eureka Ca then quick ride back on 5 toSeattle. Early stage of planing might rent for 11 days.Rode CA 1 two yrs.ago, for 10 days( Put 2600 miles on bike rode coast then Reno for street vibrations)We loved it.I'll get back when I have better plans. In July, if you want to stay in deluxe oceanfront hotels, you'll need to book ahead of time, especially along the central and northern coasts, and on the weekends. If you prefer older, smaller "mom-and-pop" places, you should be okay not booking ahead.
Weather *should* be okay with little to no rain :-)
Thanks We wont knowfrom day to day where we will be.We tend to stay at mom n pop places.mt. St. Helen and crater lake for sure? Thanks again
