I suggest that you look at Google Maps or a road atlas to understand the Pacific NW.

Crater Lake National Park is in Oregon.

Olympic, Mt. Rainier and North Cascade National Parks are in Washington state, as is Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument.

All of the above are worth seeing.

The Redwoods in Northern California and the Oregon Coast are beautiful and well worth seeing. Is that why you titled your post "pacific coast highway"? You might want to take 101 northbound, rather than route 1. It might save time and it will be less curvy.

When is this trip? With kids? Does this trip end in Seattle?

3. Re: pacific coast highway

Hi again. Do you have 13 travel days or are some of those going to be spent in SF?

On your other thread you received some information about the National Parks. The only one in Oregon is Crater Lake which is inland and will take a lot of extra time away from the coast.

There are no towns on the Oregon coast larger than about 10,000 people. The largest town between San Francisco and Port Angeles on the NW Washington coast is Eureka, CA with about 30,000. You do not have to visit any cities :-)
