The first week in August is usually hot and humid across PA, with chances of thunderstorms. We probably won't have the blistering heat of last week, but the highs will probably be in the high 80s to 90s. Bring rain gear in case of thunderstorms.
Earlier in the summer there are often chilly nights, but it's been staying in the mid 60s-70s at night lately. I often pack a sweatshirt for camping and evening activities, but rarely use them once we hit the middle of the summer.
