Need help finding an accommodation!!

My boyfriend and I want to take a trip and we have it narrowed down to New England/ Rhode Island and we have scoured all kinds of hotels and B&Bs. We are looking for something romantic for a weekend visit that isn't crazy $$$$ We would like something between 100-200 dollars but we are really struggling to find something that isn't generic! help!

Do you have any particular area of RI that you are looking to visit? There are plenty of B&Bs all over RI that are full of character. Also, when are you planning on visiting?

I've had pretty good luck using bnbfinder.com as a starting point when looking for B&Bs. There are quite a few in the Newport area, and I know of at least 3 in Westerly.

October is prime time for "leaf peaking", so make your reservations asap. Crown Plaza in Warwick RI is a nice central location.
