Staying in Coventry for one night

We're traveling to Cape Cod from New York City and had a hard time finding lodging for a one night stop. We ended up at a Hampton Inn in Coventry. What can you tell me about the area?

Just off of Rt 95.

A bunch of chain stores (Walmart, Home Depot, etc) and chain restaurants, AppleBees, Crascker Barrel, etc. There are a bunch of other hotels there in an industrial park area. Perfectly safe, but not really a quaint New England Town Center type place.

You're not far from Providence. It would be worth your while to head there for an evening of dining/exploring. If you don't want to go that far or deal with the traffic, Main St in East Greenwich is 15 minutes away. Lots of very good restaurants, pleasant walking, and a 2 minute ride to great spots along Narrangansett Bay. Some of my favorite restaurants are the Harbourside Lobsermania (waterfront, excellent lobster rolls), Sienna and The Grille on Main.
