RV Camps and Must See Sites Beaufort / Charleston

We're planning a late February RV road trip that will take us from Savannah to Myrtle Beach by way of Beaufort and Charleston. We've been to Beaufort & Charleston before, but it's been years - and this will be our first RV trip. We'll be staying on the Carolina coast just a couple of days before moving on up to Virginia.

Looking for recommendations and cautionary tales regarding RV camps and must-see attractions and dining. (We've heard Joseph's has closed so we'll be on the hunt for another great spot for Po' Boys.) We tend towards historic sites and off-the-beaten path attractions. And we also play Ingress and do GeoCaching.

Near Charleston, James Island County Park for camping.

Also look at South Carolina Parks department website for camping at Hunting Island, Edisto Beach, and Huntington Beach.
