I will be travelling to Texas next year and would like to know is it best to go to Dallas or Fort Worth, i will only have 5 days to explore.

I only have the 5 days, i like to make to make most of my time, always do a city tour, would love to experience a Rodeo and a real Texan bar. I most like the non tourist things. Any suggestions would b greatful

If I was focusing on one city and looking for the Texas experience I would pick San Antonio. Rodeos, dude ranches, history...most walkable city in Texas. Lots to see and do. If you are tied to D-FW, I agree that Fort Worth best fits your criteria.
