Looking in Dallas for a nice chain hotel in North Dallas

My 20 something so and his fiancé are traveling to Dallas for a college teammates wedding..

Looking for a hotel the night before the festivities, Thursday I think. something near North Dallas like decent chain.Any suggestions.

"North Dallas" covers a very large expanse. Can you pinpoint an area/suburb/street. Besides Dallas proper - south of 635/LBJ - it often includes Richardson, Addison Carrollton and sometimes Plano.
