I am planning to be in Bryce and Zion during Feb 2014 with my husband and 2 children (aged 7 and 9 years). and have a few questions.
I am trying to decide on the best way to split our time between these 2 parks and if we need to see both. I have studied the forums and it seems overwhelmingly that Zion needs more time in summer. Is the same true for winter? I have read suggestions that Bryce may have more to do in the winter?
We will have come from Arches NP, so kids may be a little tired of hiking. I thought horse riding or snowmobiling may be an option at Bryce on those "not another hike!" days. Does anyone have any thoughts on this idea and are these activities suitable for kids?
