1 week with a 1 year old for fall foliage - suitable hotels?

we are planning a trip with our very good natured 1 year old starting 12th October. Does anyone have hotel recommendations - maybe somewhere with babylistening/babysitting with a good close by restaurant. Looking to stay 2 places max. I think our general itinerary will be driven by where we can find good places to stay

Depends where in the state you'd like to stay. Burlington, Stowe and Woodstock would all be nice destinations within 1 hour's drive of each other. All have good lodging and restaurants. There are probably good quality babysitting services available in each town with a little research - tho perhaps on the pricey side.

have you looked at www.vermontvacation.com ? An excellent resource.

Are you looking for a quiet, small town or a bustling community?
