Staying in Pittsfield - Where is good to eat?

Hi all, my husband and I have rented a place in Pittsfield for a week in August. We picked this spot because it is centrally located for the activities we will be doing in the daytime. What are some good places to eat dinner in the area? Looking for places no further than a 1/2 hour ride. Thank you.

In Rutland, TA touts Little Harry's, Table 24, Roots and Palms.

In Mendon, Red Clover Inn and Thai Star.

Killington: Vermont Inn Restaurant, Peppino's and Birch Ridge Inn.
