Where to stay the night after crossing the Canadian border

We are driving from Quebec City back into Boston. We want to break up the drive into no more than 4-5 hours each leg. We are looking for someplace to stay the night after crossing back into the US that will put us about 3.5 - 4 hours out of Boston. Can someone recommend where we should look at stopping. We are driving in on Highway 91 and then taking Highway 93 through New Hampshire to Boston.

I need some advice on where we should be stopping for the first night. There are so many small towns in upper Vermont I have no idea where to even start.

The Comfort Inn in St. Johnsbury, VT is very nice. It's right at the intersection of 91 & 93...about 3 hours out of Boston.

Do you have an estimated drive time from Quebec City to St. Johnsbury? Mileage doesn't always give an acurate drive time. Thanks for your input.
