Sportsbar (husband needs to watch his football team!)

We will be in the Washington DC area next Sunday and my husband wants to be able to stop somewhere to watch his football team play. Does anyone have any suggestions on a sportsbar in the Washington area (suburbs are fine) that would be showing games from across the league? Thank you.

Where are you staying? There are a number of good places to watch games. Make a recommendation really is dependent on where you are staying and your preferred mode of transportation. For examples:

In Washington:

ESPN Zone (as was already mentioned)

Capitol City Brewery (2 locations)

The Tombs (Georgetown)

Lucky Bar (Dupont Circle) - This is the official Cleveland Brown's bar, assuming that is the team he is interested in (based on your location in your profile).

In Virginia:

Thieman's (Alexandria)

Crystal City Sports Pub (Crystal City)

In Maryland:

The Green Turtle (Laurel and other locations)

Tommy Joe's (Bethesda)

Caddy's on Cordell (Bethesda)

There are many other good ones, just suggest where you are staying and transportation.

You are right, it is the Browns that he is interested in. And we are staying in Dupont Circle, Hotel Palomar, but we are actually driving out that day so we could go anywhere from downtown DC to to the northern suburbs to watch the game. But if the Lucky Bar is in Dupont Circle, and the "official" Browns bar, that sounds perfect!!! Thank you so much!!!
