family of 5 looking for suites hotel.

We are looking for a hotel with a one or two bedroom suite hotel. We are looking for a place that is in a good location and with an indoor or outdoor pool.

Any Embassy Suites in the area

-Convention Center

-22nd Street

-Crystal City/Reagan Airport

-Old Town Alexandria

-Chevy Chase Pavilion (Friendship Heights)

Those all have what you need but don't know if it's in your budget

Also look into

-Doubletree Guest Suites on New Hampshire Avenue (outdoor pool however)

-One Washington Circle (outdoor pool)

-Hampton Inn & Suites Reagan Airport

Staybridge Suites near Dulles is a really nice place to stay; outdoor pool and a great full breakfast....also has an airport shuttle.

The Embassy Suites Crystal City was great...not as large/busy as the one near the Convention Center. Both had the great breakfast, etc.

It was (I think) a $1.35 20-minute Metro ride each way into and out of downtown, with an easy five minute walk to a Metro stop.

Howevery, you can walk to The Mall from the ES Convention Center in about 10 minutes.
