This is the forum for the District of Columbia, not Maryland

I agree---post this in the "Maryland" forum. Also, I'm sure that you are aware that motels that charge by the hour won't be in the best neighborhoods...

A. G., I have just posted your question in http://forums.somd.com/life-southern-maryland . You can click on that link periodically to see if anyone replies to my thread. (besides just making silly comments).

MM

are you suggesting that when a local asks on TA for hotels that rent by the hour, silly comments aren't deserved?

Agreed, Neslaw. That was open to criticism, but it was nice of MM to do that for the OP.

From the posts on the SOMD forum, it looks like they are suggesting the A&E motel. A quick Google search turned up some less-than-positive history at this motel. I would highly suggest you avoid this place. Unless you couldn't dump $80 for a decent Hampton Inn or something...then I don't know what to tell you. Get a tent, I guess.

The A&E Motel

I think there must be a gap in the market for recommendations for this sort of place worldwide. Somebody should start a special website. I wonder what would be a good title for it?

Hahaha, that could be perhaps the funniest thing ever said in Tripadvisor history, Irishfan! Made me fall out of my chair!

The OP appears to be a one post wonder...
