Best metro stop to see Cherry Blossoms

We're staying at the BW Rosslyn April 5,6,7. Which Metro stop from there would be best to see the Cherry blossoms? Thank you.

The closest Metro station to the Tidal Basin area is Smithsonian Station, but it will still be a walk of about a mile to get there.

When exiting the station, be sure to take the 12th Street exit rather than the one to the National Mall. There will be a significant distance in how far you will need to walk.

Smithsonian (Blue and Orange, both stop at Rosslyn and at Smithsonian) is your stop. You walk towards higher number streets and it all starts at 15 St, SW.

I have linked below to a map so you can see how the trees are aligned around the Tidal Basin, which is like a big circle, with its northern part along Independence Avenue from 15th to the equivalent position of 21st St, which doesn't actually cross Independence Avenue. You can see the Jefferson, FDR, MLK Jr, Memorials along with the trees and nearby at 23rd between Independence and Constitution Avenues are the Lincoln, Viet Nam, and Korean War Memorials. And across the river is Arlington Cemetery, where the Arlington Cemetery (Blue Line) Metro station is.

This is great information! Thank you for sharing. It should make my day trip with a 5 year old much easier to plan.
