Old Post Office Tower

I'm not sure I understand what this place is however I would be interested in going there - going up to the top via elevator and shooting some pictures of the city. In and out in 20 or so.

Is it just that simple?

Depending on lines, yup, just that simple. You will have to go through metal detectors to get there, however, as the building is secured.

Because of the possibility of a line at security, and to ride the elevators, your 20 minutes is probably too short. But if you take a very quick look you might make it that quickly. There are also places to eat in the court at the bottom where you catch the first elevator. http://www.oldpostofficedc.com/

Ah - thanks!

So it looks like we can get in - go to the top for some great views/photos - go back down and purchase another Washington Monument paperweight at a gift shop then be on our way - perfect!
