NFL Game tickets?? September Washington and Baltimore

We will be in Washington the 10th to 17th of September. We are looking at going to the Ravens Thursday night game and the Redskins on the Sunday against Jacksonville. We know that tickets will not be cheap, but we are going anyway. Anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to get tickets...Stubhub? Ticketmaster re-sale? Or take a chance game day? We are looking at renting a car to get to Baltimore as we have asked the question prior and it seems the easiest way to go especially for a night game, and we will probably head back on Friday for the Yankee game at Camden.

Thanks in advance

How about looking at the teams web pages and just buying the tickets there? Obviously you know plenty about how to buy football tickets.

By the way, "Camden" is a city in New Jersey. "West Camden Street" is a street in Baltimore, and "Camden Yards" is an area made up of an office building in a former warehouse, part of South Eutaw Street, and "Oriole Park", a baseball stadium built on the site of the old Camden Street Railroad Yards west of Howard St. in Baltimore. I assume you don't live in Sherwood, Albert. (just being humourous).

And to us Marylanders, it's an Orioles game with the Yankees visiting, it is not a Yankee game (again, being humourous)

You do not want to buy Redskins tickets direct from the team, even if they happen to be available (the games are all theoretically sold out, but there are inevitably "player returns" on Ticketmaster). Instead, plan to buy them on Stubhub three to seven days prior to the game. The market for Redskins tickets has become incredibly soft in recent years. While the Jacksonville game is the home opener, the opponent is not a rival (and not very good), so plenty of tickets should be available for far less than face value. One other tip is that you should not buy seats on the visitor's side in the 200 level; many are obstructed by the upper deck overhang, and unscrupulous sellers won't tell you that. All other parts of the stadium, other than standing room, are OK. I recommend against standing room as well, as who wants to stand for three hours without a place to sit?

If you use the Seat Geek app for tickets, you can see the view of the field from each seat for sale. It collects tickets for sale on Stub Hub, eBay, and other sites.
