Due to the June flooding most of the lakes around here are still high and have limited use.

I know Pewaukee Lake is allowing boating, but with no wake. There is an algae in the lake that is preventing swimming.

Your best bet might be to look at www.waukeshacounty.gov/parks to get current information about conditions and maybe even make some phone calls.

Phantom Lake in Mukwonago might be a place to check out for what you are looking for.

Ottawa Lake is in a Wisconsin State Park. I am not sure what kind of fishing they have, or the condition of the water, but that's another option outside the Waukesha County park system.

Ottow Lake in Eagle is part of the Kettle Moraine Southern Unit State Park. It has a lovely beach, 2 playgrounds, a fishing pier, campground , 2 sand volleyball courts, horseshoes and two shelters . Pets are only allowed in one small area. There ae numerous hiking trails in the near vicinity. Kids love them.
